OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Georgia Huston (President) is a student at Notre Dame High School. She is a chronic pain sufferer who has devoted her talents to helping others with the same affliction. She is the founder of Teen Pain Help Foundation.

Phyllis Bagdadi (Vice President) is a former educator, who is currently a Senior Vice President at NBC Universal. She graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She serves on the Board of the World Airline Entertainment Association.

Bettina Bennewitz (Secretary) is the Director of Program Management at KCET. She has a BS in Education from West Virginia University. She is a former educator and is now a member of the Directors Guild of America, and has served on the Board for the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society.

Dawn Mills (Treasurer) is a Licensed Fiduciary at Boehmer and Mills Fiduciary Services. She has a Bachelor of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. She is a licensed fiduciary with the California Professional Fiduciaries Bureau/National Guardianship Association. She is a member of the Professional Fiduciary Association of California. She has worked as a geriatric case manager in the private sector and as a social worker for the City of Los Angeles.

Dr. Azmi Atiya is a cardiothoracic surgeon, practicing in Northridge, California. He attended Albany Medical College and did his residency and internship at UCLA, and his Cardio Fellowship at the University of Texas. He is Chief of the Department of Surgery at Northridge Medical Center and Chairman of the Peer Review Committee.
